FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Here are some of our most frequently asked questions about our process. You are welcome to contact us with additional questions not addressed in this section.

Q

What are your general procedures for a sale?

A. Once you contact us, David will set a time to meet with you on site to view the estate. He will answer any questions you have and estimate the time we will need for setup before the sale. A contract will be drawn up outlining our policies, procedures, and dates for the sale. We begin our setup by cleaning, organizing, pricing and displaying all merchandise to be sold. Setup takes a minimum of 10 days, up to a few weeks, depending on the size of the sale. During this time we will need full access to the home. Each sale is unique and our timeline is flexible based on your needs.

Q

What kinds of items can be included in the sale?

A. We can sell just about anything, including: antiques, furniture, jewelry, coins, books, cars, clothing, kitchen items, garage items, and other miscellaneous Items.

Q

Who Prices the items?

A. All items are priced by our staff members based on fair market value for New Mexico. We use qualified appraisers on an as-needed basis.

Q

How do you advertise?

A. We advertise on our website, Facebook page, Instagram page, and local newspapers. We also maintain an email list of buyers interested in attending our sales. We have many repeat customers who enjoy attending our sales due to our attention to detail, cleanliness, and overall fabulous performance in conducting estate sales.

Q

How does the sale work?

A. All of the items are reviewed, organized, staged and priced prior to the sale. The sale is typically open from 9am to 3pm for three days – Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Friday is a full-price day, Saturday is 20% off, and Sunday is 50% off. The public is invited to come in and shop for treasures. Our staff members will be present throughout the sale days to answer questions, encourage sales, cashier, and ensure the safety of the merchandise and home. We strongly suggest you are not present during the sale days as it can be a difficult and emotional time.
